Senior Attorney Lee S. Feldman uses his extensive legal background and experience to litigate federal immigration matters, criminal post-conviction relief motions and family and probate court Special Immigration Juvenile Status (“SIJS”) submissions.  Mr. Feldman previously represented American unions such as the International United Brotherhood of Carpenters (UBC), the Southwest Regional Brotherhood of Carpenters, Electronic and Space Technicians Local 1553 (regarding Hughes Aircraft, General Motors, Raytheon and Boeing) and the Carpenters Southwest Trust Funds (assets under administration exceeding three billion dollars).  He has been involved with the research and preparation for arguments before the United States Supreme Court and the Supreme Court of California and has successfully argued appeals before the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals and in various California appellate courts.

As a civil litigator, Mr. Feldman extensively litigated the formation, operation and finances of businesses.  He supervised forensic audits of entities, including sole proprietorships, partnerships (general and limited), limited liability companies and corporations (including multinational corporations) and successfully pursued numerous claims in bankruptcies, mechanics liens and public works project disputes.  Mr. Feldman holds in-depth knowledge of business formation, contract and employment law, regulatory and uniform commercial code requirements, double-breasting, alter-ego, single employer issues and state and federal rules and regulations. He successfully represented clients in collective bargaining negotiations and in over one thousand arbitrations involving contract negotiations and interpretation, discipline and wrongful termination. Mr. Feldman counseled the Southwest Regional Council of Carpenters and Trust Fund Administrative Services regarding compliance with the requirements of Federal rules and regulations. He represented the International Brotherhood of Carpenters during unfair labor practice hearings before the National Labor Relations Board.

Mr. Feldman has been an adjunct professor teaching Trusts, Wills and Immigration Law at South Bay University School of Law and at the University of West Los Angeles Law School. He was an adjunct professor teaching Business Law and Sports Law at Loyola Marymount University, Fullerton College and El Camino College.

In 2020, Mr. Feldman joined Pathak & Feldman as Senior Attorney in charge of litigation matters. Pathak & Feldman works to vindicate the rights of foreign nationals against unreasonable delays, erroneous decisions and arbitrary and capricious actions promulgated by the Federal agencies charged with regulating lawful admission to the United States.

In his personal time, Mr. Feldman enjoys family, traveling, reading, jigsaw puzzles and playing softball.
